These boots and I, we have a love story.
A few years ago, we were in NYC for New Year’s eve with some friends (don’t worry New Yorkers- we didn’t sell our soul to the Time Square craziness!). Earlier in the day we were browsing some vintage shops and I saw these boots. I thought to myself- hmmmm… those are some AMAZING boots! But, I sure don’t want to lug them around town on New Year’s Eve and who knows if they would even fit in my suitcase. I left without the boots but they wouldn’t get off my mind. I had know clue where this store was, just that it was in the lower east side.
Two days later, I dragged Brian and his brother around the area until we stumbled back upon it. The boots were still there and the lady that owned the shop happened to be originally from Arizona, so it was definitely meant to be. :)
I recently went to H&M to look for yellow tights and this dress managed to find it’s way to the check out counter with me too. I thought it was cute but needed a little something so I stitched some crochet trim on to give it a collar. Easy peasy.
