I was recently re-introduced to this song from 1979 and have been dancing around my house with it on repeat. Here’s a YouTube clip from a TV dance show, encompassing all the greatness of late ’70s/early ’80s style. If you weren’t born yet, I’m sorry you missed out on this period in history ;)
If you just want to listen to the song without grainy video, check out this one:
Also, I guest posted over at Happy Tuesday Blog last week and forgot to mention it here, since blogging wasn’t really on my mind last week. I wrote a post about one of my favorite vacations if you want to check it out. I really love Kerri’s blog and her great photos, you should definitely pay her a visit if you haven’t already!
Today is Tuesday Tunes with a twist- it’s a documentary on gig posters, so totally tunes related. Have you seen Just Like Being There yet? If not, I recommend this for next time your flipping through Netflix trying to find something you haven’t watched. I dare you to watch it and not be totally jealous of these people’s jobs. They are making art for awesome bands and screen-printing it, no less. I always get so inspired seeing people that create their career by doing what they love.
I am SO excited about this weeks Tuesday Tunes- of Montreal! Tomorrow I’m going to see them live for the 4th time and they are one of my FAVES. The shows are so fun- a performance art dance party. If you ever get the chance to see them, do it.
