First of all- thank you guys so much for the sweet comments on my dress restyle!

And now, some of my favorites from a week around the internet:

I’m a collector by nature but have my momentary freak outs that I have too much crap. This was a good article on why a little clutter is okay. I like how the author says “…clutter never starts out as clutter”- A little mess

I loved LA’s advice on “a creative soul wanting a creative future”

Have you entered the Manzanita giveaway on Pussycat Vintage yet?

Bekuh from Secondhand Sundays wrote a post for Uncommon Goods on sustainable party planning.

Adrian’s Vegan Chocolate Dipped Bananas look so freaking good!

What are your plans for the weekend? I hope it’s a good one! Can you believe how fast summer is going? I can’t believe I’m back to school in a few weeks…

Holy cow, Rebecca’s crocheted dress is amazing! I really wish I had the patience for such a big project…

Fruit salsa with cinnamon chips sure does sound super yummy…

A cool graphic on what American’s spend on booze. Now pass me a cocktail, please…

My friend Monica’s post about risk couldn’t be more timely…

This tree mansion made from all reused parts may be the coolest thing ever!

Since we’ve been talking bathing suits- Amy’s week dedicated to the Summer of Self-Love is a must read!

I hope you’ve all been enjoying your weekend- still another day left if you’re stateside! Mine has busy with celebrating two birthdays, watching friend’s band play, too many drinks and sugary treats, and enjoying the AMAZING weather since the weekend dropped down to the 80’s for us. Tomorrow night is a going away party, and those are always bittersweet. Two more friends leaving AZ this week, which brings the tally to 5 friends that moved away this May. Boo to being friends with grad students!

Here’s some awesomeness from the internet this week:

15 Things To Do When Stuck on Annplified…

The Color Run looks so fun- and I hate running! I love the photos from the Seattle event over at Fox in the Pine

I’m a sucker for scallops and Chantilly’s tote bag might need to be made soon…

I recently tried a couple of recipes I found on Pinterest that were tasty:

My thrifted tap shoes…

Last night was a little bit of a milestone, I had my first bike wreck in 15-20 years. I was making a turn and my front tire got caught in railroad tracks and I. went. down. The worst part of it? I was wearing a vintage dress that got pretty beat up- a strap ripped off, the gathered waist seam ripped, and it’s covered in sidewalk dirt. Luckily, all the damage is on the seams so it can be fixed, but since there’s gathering involved, I’m taking it to a pro tomorrow.

I’m happy there were no major injuries, but between my bloody knee & elbow AND my dress falling apart, I looked like a serious mess riding home. Good thing it was dark out. :)

Some internet coolness this week:

As a girl smack-dab in the in-between, I appreciated Kyla’s post

If your pic isn’t showing up when you comment on some blogs (like mine!), you need a Gravatar! Sarah tells you how

I love Polly’s dress re-style and a goal for the summer is to get more confident with my alteration skills.

Jessica’s felt boxes would be cute & easy to make for gifts…

And just for fun, this is one of my all-time favorite songs and I’m watching and re-watching this video for my last project of the semester. Please tell me you love this song as much as I do!

Did you all have a good weekend? Hopefully no embarrassing bicycle accidents…

I want to write a list like Suki’s 5 Reasons I Blog, for those times I need inspired!

I’m loving the 6 Weeks to a Better Blog series on Silly Grrl…

I am 1/4 German. I think this is why I love pretzels SO much. And beer is a fave too… I am making these soon!

These constellation leggings are SO cool!

I LOVVVVVVE ascot tops and this will be the perfect DIY to try during my 2nd-hand challenge….

Kind of a short list this week, I’ve been knee deep in school work for my last week of the semester and have been trying to limit my internet browsing :) One of my projects is a redesign of the blog which I’m really excited about!
