This week’s What to Wear theme is for a casual coffee date. We’ve had some windy days that are really hindering my wearing of Spring dresses, but on the other hand, it’s good to get some jeans–wearing in now before it’s too hot.
How about some colorful, French dance music this Tuesday? If you’re feeling burnt. out. like I am- I promise this will help.
Friday is my portfolio review and I will be done with school! Crazy. I can’t wait to get back to a regular blogging schedule and most of all, I miss reading your blogs!
It’s time for another Week of Wears with a peek at what I wore to school this week. That minty green watch in the first picture turned out to be an overpriced bracelet. I bought it at Target a few months ago and the battery immediately died. I got the battery replaced but it is just slow enough that by the end of the day I’m a couple hours off. Classic form over function.
As you can see from the first two outfits, summer weather is upon us in Arizona. We still have some time with cool nights and mornings so I’m trying to enjoy that as much as possible. I’m blogging from the patio right now.

You guys, I used to knit a lot. Like watch countless back-to-back episodes of Six Feet Under so I could gain a few more inches on my project. Now I don’t have much more time (or focus) to work on more than a simple cowl or scarf, and I pulled this top out of my closet thinking “did I really make that?”.
Knitting was my first craft love and it changed my way of thinking. For some reason, it didn’t register until my 20s that people are rarely “naturally good” at something and that most things can be learned with some practice. I was determined to learn how to knit and after some practice, felt I could take on almost any project. My confidence grew and I realized that with some determination I could learn how to do a lot of the things I wished I knew how.
