the good kind of blues…

Today I have been counting on my bright blue shoes to motivate me. Rainy days make me want to veg on the couch but I was hoping some dashes of bright colors and fun tights would spark some energy. I got shoes these last weekend when my mom came to visit. I took her for her first experience with the madness of Last Chance- the final stop for unwanted, returned Nordstrom merchandise and Phoenix is home to the only one in the country. Total craziness but a good place to score $100 shoes for under $20.

My sweet friend Miki sent me these tights back in August in a package full of cuteness. In my excitement, I tore into everything and ate all the candy before snapping a pic, so you’ll have to trust me on the goodness. I’ve been not-so-patiently for waiting a few months until it was cool enough to show them off.

I love those shoes and those tights! So very sassy. <3 I'm cleaning the house and watching "The Business of Being Born" on Netflix. I'm also the only one home right now and it is the best.

I love the angles you got on these shots, the first and the last are so great, there’s a little something about them that I always try to get to make street shots look good but can never find. anyway, glad you had fun w/ your mom! i didnt realize this was the only last chance in the country! those shoes are so so fun! and i love the tights.
you are so adorable girl! and that looks like a perfect class outfit, the dress texture looks comfy enough for so much sitting, although I often have to loosen my belt a bit throughout the day and sometimes avoid belts for long sitting days aka clearly i’m in denial that i need to get on an exercise routine again but that had nothing to do with lovely little you. the pastels are actually a great chance w/ all the “fall hues” and i’m always amazed you change things up on the blog so much, it looks great! and especially love the blog make-over. wow, it’s an entirely diff look and looks fantastic!!

I simply love this outfit, i’m a huge fan of monochrome too. Love how you’ve teamed it with a splash of colour! Actually squeeled when I spotted we both have the same hat, I’m featuring it over on my blog as we speak!
