This dress was one of my clothing scores from the recent estate sale adventure. It’s a perfect color and pattern for fall, but I wanted to wear it now! I paired it with some bright, turquoise tights in hopes that would make it a little more spring-esque. Did it work? No? Okay, it’s about to get hot here in AZ anyway so I will hang it up until October.

Did the title make you think I was harvesting scallops from the sea? No. I just inadvertently piled on the scalloped trim in this outfit…

Also…today is the big day for Chantilly’s album release party! So first, go buy her Up to the Moon EP, and then head over to the blog to join in all the fun! I got my copy a few weeks ago for being a part of her Kickstarter campaign and I’ve been listening to it on repeat. Her voice is so beautiful and there’s even an accordion in there :) She’s worked so hard to make this happen and I’m so inspired by her!

As usual, I love every part of your outfit. That dress is tops–I would want to fill those pockets with penny candy and hit the road in search of the perfect bakery.

  3. Ahhh! That dress is too cute. Especially the collar. And the color of those tights are great! I love it!

Thank you! I’m so paranoid about these tights ripping- I’ve had them for years and I don’t remember the color to replace them :)

Goodness Lisa…you are forever making me swoon with your outfits that are just way too adorable for words. This is 100% up my alley. I’m the same way…it’s so hard to let certain pieces of clothing go for the season…so I walk around in long sleeves till it hits 75 degrees…hehe, oh well. That dress is one incredibly gorgeous find!

Oh, I came here to see if there was a new post and now not only do I covet your dress and tights, but your shoes, too, haha! :p

Thanks for the comment, sweet Lisa! Yes, yes! Start sending weird packages. As long as you follow those simple rules, you’ll be safe. I’ve been very lucky with USPS; they only gave me a strange look when I sent the ball, but the employee called the manager and said it was ok. You can always also print the postage yourself and drop whatever you’re sending at a mailbox. I prefer to get stamps or deal with the employee so I don’t have to glue the label ;).

Hope you’re getting ready to have an awesome weekend! ;D
