his and hers…

I’ve been told I’m really easy to shop for. I’d have to agree, because I’m always finding things to buy for myself :) I feel like my friends and family are really good gift givers, but they say it’s easy because if it’s vintage or handmade they know I’ll love it.

handmade gifts

I wore this outfit over the weekend and I decided it needed to be on the blog because it included 2 super awesome gifts, handmade by my friends.

The earrings were a birthday gift from my friend Q, and I love the feather + leather fringe combo. Plus the blue is one of my favorite colors.

sunnies- Target
shoes- Ruche (are you sick of these yet??)

For a wedding gift, our friends Zach and Adrienne made us these super awesome his & hers belts. Zach studied snakes for his PHD and made Brian’s belt with snakeskin. Adrienne is a bad-ass leather artist and made the pretty design on my belt. Don’t ask me how, I know nothing about how this is done. I just know she is awesome and talented.

These two crafty ladies don’t have Etsy shops (YET!), but they totally should, right??

Your belt is GORGEOUS! What fancy and talented friends you have :) You will get so much use out of that belt! And your top is too darn cute.

PS – Thanks for all your kind words on my most recent post! :)

What a lovely outfit and amazing handmade gifts. I’d love some of those earrings. They should totally open Etsy shops!

I love nothing more than creative wedding gifts – (bigtime antiregistry, sorry) and I think this may take the cake! Those belts are awesome, and how generous. :)

Me too! We didn’t register and I’m so happy about that decision. We got mostly money and then the gifts we did get were super thoughtful and tailored to us. I agree :)

Love your top. I’m going sailing for a long weekend this weekend, and it would be perfect for such an occasion haha :)

Oh dear — where do I start? I love that top! Why is it that people wearing the cutest tops and dresses get them for F21, and when I go, I never see ANYTHING I like, except maybe tights?! I don’t get it. Love that little top on you, and yes, that belt is amazing, adn she should totally open an etsy! :) I hope you are having a great week! We are finally starting to get some sunshine, and I was able to wear a maxi dress yesterday and it was wonderful! xoxo

It’s a good thing you never find anything at F21! I think they’re all a little different though, so maybe the Mall of America one is not your style. I always find stuff at one by my house but the one in Scottsdale never has anything for me. I’m sure your summers are amazing and I’m going to be super jealous of you once it hits 115 here!!

  8. do you realize how cute you are? seriously!!! and i loe the pattern on that top! i’m always attracted to novelty prints, but then i get scared and just walk away. i don’t know why.

You are the sweetest :) Thank you! I’m kinda a sucker for novelty prints but have the worst closet when it comes to classic pieces.
