A feeling recently came over me. A feeling that I haven’t had since the ’90s and thought I’d never have again. That feeling was the need for a denim shirt. I’d been seeing them all over blogs and knew one had to be mine.
I started scouring thrift stores thinking this would be an easy undertaking. But I’m picky, so it wasn’t. It couldn’t be too stiff, too loose or too tight, not too long, but not short, and definitely no rhinestones or embroidered company logos.
Well, I finally found the perfect denim shirt for me, not among thrift store racks but at Forever 21. It’s soft, comfy & lightweight, with a little western flair.

Brian isn’t a fan of the denim shirt. Wearing it everyday of the three day weekend didn’t help like I thought it would either… by day 3 I had just earned the nickname “Jay Leno”. Don’t know why? Do an image search of Jay Leno. I can already tell this is going to be a spring staple, so he’ll have plenty of time for it to grow on him. :)
