A rainy date night…

Our cat Morrissey’s birthday! He turns 8 today so I will be trying to cuddle him extra today. But instead of another post dedicated to him, I’m showing you an outfit from a recent date night on a cold, rainy day.

We had a date night on Sunday, right before Brian left on a trip, and this is the outfit I wore. We went out to dinner at a new-to-us restaurant and wandered around Ultimate Consignment. Searching for 2nd-hand treasures is our idea of a perfect evening. We didn’t buy much- I got a file cabinet and he got a camera- but we did see some weird things along the way. This rocking chair and footstool were decked out like a motorcycle and at $500 would be a steal to someone, I’m sure. There was also this creepy hair perming contraption that looked a lot like a torture device- but I’ve been watching a lot of American Horror Story lately…
We aren’t really Valentine’s Day celebrators but I am extra excited to see Brian tonight because he’s been away in North Carolina all week. He gets back this afternoon and I will be watching the clock in class this evening!!

Happy belated heart day, sweets! I love this little dress! SO cute. We have just finished season 1 of American Horror Story. So effing good, man. I could only watch it in small doses though bc it really scared the crap out of me! :) Wishing you a great weekend, and give that bday kitty a kiss for me!

Happy birthday Morrissey! My cat turns ten this year… I can’t believe it. Time moves so (too) fast. I guess he expects me to throw him a big party this year. I wouldn’t know who to invite though, he’s not the friendliest cat (to animals other than humans, that is).
