First off, let me start by saying I’m sorry. I’m sorry for telling you to make brownies when you’re still recovering from a Halloween induced sugar coma. Next I will say you’re welcome. You’re welcome for telling you it’s okay to start thinking about brownies. All that candy is long gone and a distant memory. Heck, it was last month!

I’m a little obsessed with the salty/sweet combo. I don’t know, maybe that comes with aging- you just like every flavor at once. :)
I use this recipe with one modification- more salt! I add the 1/2 teaspoon it calls for into the mixture and then with a devilish laugh, I sprinkle on another WHOLE teaspoon on the top. This is salty. And sweet. So maybe don’t do that if you aren’t a crazy salt lady like me. I use this fancy French salt that my friend’s (HI Kari & Nate!) sent me when they were living there. It just feels more officially decadent that way, but I’m sure any quality sea salt would do!
And yes, that’s a picture of a partially eaten dish of brownies and not an artfully curated shot as it comes out of the oven. That’s true life… eating your brownies.
