meet the kitties…

meet the kitties

Today I want to properly introduce you to my kitty loves. They are both 6 years old, Piper on the left and Morrissey on the right.

Morrissey (aka Big Kitty, Crazy Cat, Mo, Mozzer) was a feral rescue and we adopted him as a baby. He is a totally psychotic kitty that can only be around myself, Brian, or Brian’s BFF Josh who has been around him since his kitten days. He has high anxiety that turns into wild animal aggression around any strangers. We’ve learned to avoid this by keeping him in our bedroom when anyone comes for a visit. He is our guard cat and has helped us scare off many salesmen :)

He requires lots of work but we love him to pieces…

Piper (a.k.a. Little Kitty, Smooch, Pepita) was named after the type of airplane I did my flight training in. She is the total opposite of Mo, a mellow cat who likes nothing more than sleeping and cuddling.

Guess what? I was always allergic to cats growing up so these are the first two I’ve ever had. I have many memories of leaving slumber parties as a kid because I would get these crazy asthma attacks from cats (nerd alert, I know!):) So happy I outgrew that because I can’t imagine life without these love bugs!

Here’s some shots on film Brian took…

I must admit I’ve totally had kitten fever lately…

Awe, your kitties are so cute! I love cats so much! I brought Dimitri from Argentina to California; adapting to this new place would have been so much harder without him!

And I have asthma, too, as a child and still now. Everybody keeps telling me I need to get rid of Dante and Dimitri but I just won’t. They don’t get I’m asthmatic but not to the cats, haha.

Hope you have a great week! :D

Oh my meow. (New cat obssessed follower here btw) I had awful allergies to cats to when I was a kid! When I got my first feline child I vowed to take allergy meds for the rest of my life…then one day I forgot to take it and realized I was anything but allergic! I grew out of them too…isn’t that odd and amazing! Your little babies are SO cute. I <3 them it's true. I am in love with your cat wall decor too!
