a weekend wrap-up…

This last weekend was spent in Oregon with my family, a quick 2 day trip home. Our Arizona blood was freezing up there, but it was fun to experience a little fall with brisk days and colorful leaves. We also got to meet our new baby nephew, who is 10 pounds of sweetness!

The reason we were there was to honor the life of my uncle, he passed away last week. I’m so glad I was able to be there, to spend this time with my family, and see relatives I don’t get to be with nearly enough! Rest in peace Uncle Rod, you are loved and missed!

I’m sorry about your uncle, but I’m very happy about your nephew … awe, life!

I’ve always wanted to go to Portland; we were aiming to go this time of the year, but sadly, we can’t afford it. Maybe sometime during 2012 ;).

Hope you have a great week! Hugs!

It’s such an amazing city- definitely go when you have the chance! I would totally live there if it didn’t rain so much, but then I guess so would everyone ;)
